David Good, south London's finest private investigator, or so he likes to tell himself when he's feeling chipper, is experiencing a quiet spell on the work front. And then Sydney Shaman shows up. Sadly for Good, he promptly forgets a hard won lesson, never trust a client with a simple case.
Finding the man's missing motor is about to turn into a nightmare of epic proportions. For David Good it might well prove fatal.

thankfully the story evade the one i thought it would follow.
Also the one with Kieran at the end, no betrayal whatsoever.
