First, i lowkey horrified reading the preface. The FMC, Genevieve was 24 years old, married with a seven, yes SEVEN years old daughter and a baby boy. I know the time period was on the 80's but the fact she has to be married at seventeen if not sixteen! to have a seven years old child is appaling. 

Also what's with the excessive puns? It so annoying.

Overall just meh.

The story could explore more with the city background and slowly uncover the real situation. 

Also, poor Sofia, she didn't stand a chance with minimal knowledge of the situation.
