Sofia drives home to see her grandmother. "Besta", for the "midsommer" break. Arriving in the small northern city of Å, she is met by old Norwegian traditions and creepy stories of rituals that wake up spirits during summer's longest day.
Sofia decides to humour her Besta and participate in Midsommer, only to see that some legends are a bit more than that.

After the movie and this, i permanently placed the Midsommar festival as a horror tradition and will not pay a visit if opportunity arise lol.
The story could explore more with the city background and slowly uncover the real situation.
Also, poor Sofia, she didn't stand a chance with minimal knowledge of the situation.
